Conrad release 8.300.0 of Armadillo. His cadence is a little too quick for
CRAN so I have been throttling these down to bi-monthly releases like Rcpp.
That said, it is nice to have them -- so you can via drat, see below.
RcppArmadillo 0.8.300.0.0 is ready via GitHub, and has been tested against
all (direct) reverse depdendencies which did not reveal any issues. So by all
means please *do* use and test this too.
You can install from the drat repo at
http://rcppcore.github.io/drat/
via a simple
drat::addRepo("RcppCore")
install.packages("RcppArmadillo")
